What You Will Learn:
Planning and Structuring Presentations:
- Identify audience needs and tailor content to their expectations.
- Develop professional communication strategies and organize content effectively.
Content Design Mastery:
- Apply principles of engaging content design, including visual aids and pacing.
- Utilize tools and techniques for clear, impactful messaging.
Effective Delivery Techniques:
- Practice storytelling, persuasive communication, and non-verbal cues to captivate the audience.
- Incorporate best practices for using technology in presentations.
Audience Engagement:
- Manage Q&A sessions, address inquiries, and handle real-time feedback confidently.
- Employ closed-loop communication to verify understanding and sustain audience interest.
Practical Application:
- Engage in hands-on practice, receiving feedback to refine skills.
- Prepare and deliver a comprehensive business presentation as a capstone projects
Pre-requisites
- Be able to speak, listen and write English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualifications (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) level 3.
- While no prior presentation experience is required, basic communication skills and familiarity with digital tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote) will be beneficial.
- Candidates without formal qualifications may be considered if they demonstrate relevant
work experience or strong communication skills.
Attendance & Completion Requirements
- Participants must attain a minimum of 75% attendance for the course.
- Participants must take a final assessment and certified competency in order to complete the
course
